Home Runs and History: Celebrating the Negro Leagues 

2024 marks a significant milestone in Kansas City and sports history – the 100th anniversary of the first Negro Leagues World Series, a championship proudly secured by the Kansas City Monarchs.

In honor of this celebration, we invite you to join us for a special evening at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. We will hear from President Bob Kendrick on stories of African American baseball past and learn what is next up to bat for the museum.

This exclusive opportunity is reserved for donors who have funds at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. Please note, this is an adults-only evening, and we have a limited capacity for attendees.
