Sea Up Close: Explore Kansas City Zoo's New Aquarium Opening in 2023

Join us to “sea” a sneak preview of the Kansas City Zoo's aquarium before it opens to the public later this year. We will explore construction progress and hear about what it takes to fill 34 habitats with 650,000 gallons of water and welcome over 8,000 animals to the new exhibit.

Remarks will start at 4:30 p.m. Tours of the aquarium kick-off at 4:45 p.m. and will run every 15 minutes until 6 p.m. Enjoy the Helzberg Penguin Plaza, the Tropics, drinks and snacks while you wait for your tour time.
