Greater Kansas City Community Foundation Behind-the-Scenes at the Kansas City Museum
Celebrate Kansas City's vibrant history, cultural heritage and pride 

Quietly perched on a bluff in the Historic Northeast neighborhood, the Kansas City Museum is the Home of the Whole Story of our City's history. Once the private estate of the Robert and Ella Long family, the Kansas City Museum is full of robust multicultural stories of Kansas City and its people.

The Kansas City Museum has reinvented itself as a hub for historical preservation while celebrating the unfolding stories of today’s Kansas City community.

We invite you and your family to join us for a private evening at the Kansas City Museum, where you’ll experience stories of Kansas City’s past, present and future and learn about what is next in line for their expansive restoration and renovation project. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of Corinthian Hall and yet-to-be renovated buildings on the property, along with a musical performance from students of Harmony Project KC, cocktails and mocktails from J. Rieger, bites from Howard's and activities for the whole family!

This exclusive opportunity is reserved for donors who have funds at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. We encourage you to bring children, grandchildren or other members of the next generation to enjoy the impact of philanthropy in our community.
