Corporate Giving Network: Spotlight on William Blair

Global investment banking and wealth management firm William Blair has been committed to civic responsibility since its founding in 1935. And just last year, the Chicago-based firm donated $3.6 million to more than 900 charities.

But don’t let the large scale of their giving deceive you. William Blair takes a thoughtful approach to engage every employee and focuses on building long-term community partnerships in cities where employees live and work. The firm has also leaned in to philanthropic efforts supporting COVID-19, social justice and racial equity, and it encourages employees to do the same. In fact, in 2020, more than 50% of William Blair’s employees participated in the firm’s matching gifts program supporting such efforts.

Join us for a virtual Corporate Giving Network to hear from Director of Philanthropy Strategy Laura Coy and Senior Philanthropy Strategy Associate Paige LaCour. Laura and Paige will share how William Blair gives back through grants, sponsorships, employee matching gifts, volunteering and nonprofit board development.
