Donor-to-Donor: Affordable Housing, Evictions and Homelessness

For decades, the United Nations and international law have recognized adequate housing as a fundamental human right. But a pandemic on top of an affordable housing crisis means many of our community’s most vulnerable populations are facing severe rent burdens and are at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Join the Community Foundation to hear how organizations in Kansas City are working to address issues related to affordable housing and evictions, and how creating opportunities for homeownership can break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and historical racial inequities.
