Virtual Behind-the-Scenes at The Rabbit hOle

The Rabbit hOle was founded in 2015 by Pete Cowdin and Deb Pettid, longtime artists and operators of the Reading Reptile, one of Kansas City’s most beloved children’s bookstores for nearly 30 years. Dedicated to providing multi-sensory immersive experiences and discoverable environments to museum-goers of all ages, The Rabbit hOle will provide resources for parents, educators and children that will encourage lifelong readers and work to close the literacy gap.

While the storybook wonderland undergoes renovations and construction, and we continue to physically distance, we invite Greater Kansas City Community Foundation donors and their families to join us for a very special sneak peek of The Rabbit hOle from the comfort of your homes.
